TCDSB registers to participate in the Global EARTH HOUR event!

Now we are asking each and every school to participate in the:

 EARTH HOUR CHALLENGE

Friday, March 25th

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

In order to promote awareness of the planned Global EARTH HOUR event, all TCDSB schools are encouraged to participate and demonstrate how we continue to be stewards of the earth.

On Friday March 25th between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. schools are asked to turn off lights where it is safe to do so, and where it will not adversely disrupt the normal classroom teaching.

Arrangements have also been made for all non-essential lighting to be turned off in our schools on Saturday, March 26th between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.  Emergency lighting and morality lighting will remain on.
