Transcripts
OBTAINING AN OFFICIAL ONTARIO STUDENT TRANSCRIPTAn Official Ontario Student Transcript is a record of credits achieved in Secondary School. Transcripts are required for university/college application, other post secondary programs, employment, etc. All school boards in Ontario are mandated to maintain the Ontario Student Record (OSR) folder including a copy of the Official Student Transcript (OST) for a minimum 55 years after demission of the student.
ARCHIVED RECORDS
(Students who left secondary school prior to June 30, 2002):
INDIVIDUAL TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS REQUIRE AN AVERAGE OF 3 TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS TO PROCESS. Transcript Request Forms are processed on a “first come first served” basis
CURRENT RECORDS
(Students who left secondary school after July 1, 2002):
A former student of the Toronto Catholic District School Board who left secondary school after to July 1, 2002 will need to contact the last secondary school attended, in order to obtain an Official Ontario Student Transcript.
EXCEPTIONS: 1. Students must obtain transcript(s) from the TCDSB Archives & Records Management Dept. 2. Students who transferred to another school outside of the Toronto Catholic District School Board in order to continue with their secondary school education must contact that particular school and/or school board in order to obtain an Official Transcript(s) |
