How to be Considered to do Renewal Work for the TCDSB 

Generally every few years, the TCDSB will advertise to contractors interested in doing Renewal Work for the Board.  An advertisement is placed in the Daily Commercial News and interested parties are asked to submit a pre-qualification package to the TCDSB.  A committee including Board staff (and consultants for certain trades) will review the submissions.  Only approved candidates are asked to bid on the projects. 

This site will replace the above noted advertising so that any interested party may pre-qualify quickly. 

If you wish to pre-qualify, please submit the following: 

·        A cover letter describing the type of renewal work you wish to perform.

·        A complete CCDC-11 (1996) Contractor’s Qualification Statement (or equivalent).

·        A current Certificate of Insurance.

·        A pre-qualification statement from your Bonding Company or Financial Institution (Most projects will require bonding.  For certain smaller projects, a certified cheque or letter of credit will be acceptable).

·        A CAD 7 Report - WSIB Clearance Form

·        A Health and Safety Policy

·        Relevant Licenses

·        Additional References
