TITLE:  “HOW TO (AND HOW NOT TO) ASSESS  LEARNER LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY”

 WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:  Do you want to learn more about assessing language proficiency of Canadian Language Benchmark competencies?  In this hands-on workshop, you will practice assessing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills using the format outlined in the CLB 2000.  This training is open to anyone teaching LINC and ESL classes.

CLB audience- All Levels

THE GOALS OF THE WORKSHOP:

  • To outline how to assess language proficiency of CLB Benchmark competencies.

  • To practice assessing listening, speaking, reading & writing skills using the CLB 2000 format.
