Residents in Canada
Adult Education classes are offered free of charge to eligible adult permanent
residents in Canada.
Eligibility for attending the programs is determined by immigration status: landed immigrants and convention refugees are eligible to attend LINC classes, while Canadian citizens and refugee claimants are not eligible to attend LINC classes. Canadian citizens, landed immigrants and convention refugees whose mother tongue is neither French nor English are eligible to attend provincially funded classes.

If there is no telephone number listed, registration is conducted on site during
instructional hours.
Non-Residents Students:
Non-residents in Canada are welcome to register in Adult Education Program as
fee-paying students. Fee-paying students are accommodated provided there is space in
the program. To continue in the program for longer than three months, non-resident
students are required to obtain an official Student Authorization from Citizenship and
Immigration Canada.
Effective Janurary 1, 2001 the hourly rate for non-resident, fee-paying students is $6.00 per instructional hour. Cheques are payable to the Toronto Catholic District School Board at the beginning of each month or at point of entry into the program. Receipts are issued by the Accounting Department of TCDSB.
