Who can register? Free for Convention refugees, Refugee claimants, Canadian citizens and Permanent residents.  Visitors pay $6 per instructional hour.

Our program, a full time Monday to Friday (9:30 am - 3:00 pm) has been offered at Scadding Court for 16 years.

  • We offer CLB levels from 3-4 between the two classes.

  • Special focus on clear production of the English Language in the oral and written skills, and individual attention to each learner.

  •  Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere in which to learn.

  • The Centre offers settlement services to Newcomers to Canada that includes a drop in clinic, and day care.

  • All newcomers to Canada are eligible, including Convention refugees, Refugee claimants, Canadian citizens and Permanent residents.

  • Immigration documents required for registration.

  • There is a charge of $6.00 per hour for visitor and working visa foreign students.
