Victoria Park LINC Centre has been serving the adult immigrant community of North-East Toronto since 1995.

  • Our pleasant, conveniently located centre offers well-attended classes for learners of English as a Second Language at LINC levels Literacy to 6 which correspond to LINC benchmarks 1 to 7.

  • Highly motivated students greatly benefit from effective, up-to-date instruction based on relevant, authentic and useful material that is provided by not only friendly, supportive, dedicated but also experienced and professional ESL instructors who have brought their considerable and appropriate expertise from various educational settings.

  • Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing competencies as well as Pronunciation and Grammar Points are taught on a regular basis with the emphasis put on their practical applications in real-life situations.

  • In addition to the language instruction, guest speakers from various community agencies and associations (e.g. Legal Clinic, FMTA) are invited to address the learners and help them settle in a new country. Also, field trips to places of interest (e.g. St. Lawrence Market, The Roy Thompson Hall, The Legislative Assembly of Ontario Building) are organized to facilitate their integration into Canadian society.
