Student Government:
Welcome to Archbishop Romero's Student Government page. This page is open for all students to be a part of and to give your input to the Student Government. Here at Romero we are open to all your suggestions and promise to do the best we can as a Student Government. This school year we have a lot in store for you, the students. Our goal and purpose is to firstly recgonize our faith in Jesus Christ and to work as a team, for together we stand however, divided we fall. If you have any questions, suggestions or ideas, please feel free to approach any student government member. We are all friendly and approachable people who would love to hear from you. Teachers are also welcomed to participate. You can also write to use at
studentgovnt_romero@hotmail.com.
We hope that you all will participate in the activities we have in store for you during this school year. Again, let us stand in faith, work and learn together as a team here at our very own, Archbishop Romero.
Archbishop Romero is evolving its student government into a format similar to the way our federal government is structured in Ottawa. Now that the executive has been elected we will be holding elections for our legislative assembly or Parliament which will have the right to be consulted during the school year. We plan to hire student bureaucrats to help run the ministries in return for a credit. Eventually the cabinet will also be appointing justices for a Supreme Court of Students. We also plan to have our constitution posted here in the near future.
