The typical student in the
Arrowsmith Program in the TCDSB, like students in
the Arrowsmith Program at all schools offering this program:
- is of average or above average intelligence
- has a combination
of the learning dysfunctions that are described in
the Descriptions
of Learning Dysfunctions on our web site and in
our
Brochure
- does not have severe intellectual, cognitive, emotional
or behavioural
disorders that would significantly affect his or her ability to
participate
in the Arrowsmith Program.
- does not have acquired brain injury,
autism or any other pervasive developmental
disorder
In addition, for admission to a school within the TCDSB and subject
to space being available, the student must:
- be identified or in the process of being identified as learning
disabled
- be of elementary school age
- meet the admission criteria for admission
to a Toronto Catholic School
