Bishop Marrocco Thomas Merton is a co-educational multicultural Catholic Secondary School, which provides educational opportunities to our adolescent Catholic students. Throughout the educational process, we endeavour to create the type of Catholic Community composed of teachers, students, parents and religious, as advocated by the Second Vatican Council. The students within our community are encouraged and challenged to grow intellectually, spiritually and physically in a manner consistent with our Catholic heritage. With the leadership given by our namesakes, Bishop Francis Marrocco, whose involvement with social action and the well being of family life is an example to all of us, along with the deep spirituality of Thomas Merton, our Community has two excellent models to emulate. It is our intent that students graduating from Bishop Marrocco/Thomas Merton will display the characteristics of these two men and will bring these characteristics to the greater Catholic community.
