"Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed.  What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is."   1 John 3:2

Education through the arts allows students to express feelings, thoughts and experiences in a variety of ways.  The arts promote feelings of empathy by helping students to become more aware of both themselves and others.

When exploring a topic as sensitive as bullying through arts-based programs, students may grow in self-confidence and discover greater resources of wisdom and resilience within themselves.

Stage Kids the Edu-tainment Company

Since 1988, Stage Kids The Edu-Tainment Company has been performing their unique brand of musical theatre for the Greater Toronto area audiences, providing valuable and relevant life lessons to young adults, from 11 to 17.  The subject matter of their original productions ranges from anti-drug and substance abuse, bullying and harassment, to violence prevention strategies, to self-esteem and conflict resolution, to code of conduct and safe schools.

The Edu-Tainment Company is exclusive in its field by providing accessible and affordable, professional musical theatre. To date over half a million people in the province of Ontario alone, have seen Stage Kids’ productions -- a glowing testimony to their success in reaching the teen market and filling the need to expose students to live theatre. The powerful, thought-provoking and probing scripts artfully get their point across by seeing situations from the youth perspective and by "reaching out ", instead of "preaching to the audience." By combining sophisticated lyrics with contemporary music, Stage Kids' productions reflect the inner landscape of young people in an honest, intelligent and humorous manner.

To complement the theme of each production, a Study Guide is written to correspond to and follow the Ontario Curriculum Guidelines set forth by the Ministry of Education and Training.
