Professional Learning Centres
The Professional Learning concept has arisen from a strong belief system of
a culture of shared values around instructional improvement. Sharing
expertise is the driving force behind instructional change and this is key
to academic improvement. The underlying premise is that shared knowledge and
ideas are more likely to produce change than working in isolation.
Catholic educators recognize the additional dimension to their vocation, the
ongoing social development to form men and women who will be prepared for
life's opportunities, challenges and choices. Good ideas come from talented
people. The TCDSB is proud to have a dedicated staff of professional
teachers and administrators who are committed to Catholic education and to
continuous instructional improvement.
