CONSERVATION WEEK ’08
The Ontario Power Authority (OPA) has initiated
it’s first ever Energy Conservation Week, May 25-31, 2008. The idea
is that by having Ontarians become better users of electricity
through conservation, and not wasting energy, the Province will be
better able to meet the energy demands during peak periods, while
making a strong commitment to reducing the Province’s environmental
footprint.
TCDSB staff and students are encouraged to
participate in this week at home and at school by conserving energy
where ever possible. The adjoining calendar gives some ideas of the
various things that can be done around school and at home to show
your involvement in this initiative. And more great ideas can be
