Students will appreciate differences in others. Explain the effects of chronic
disabilities. Create ways to improve inclusion efforts in their school and/or community.
This Internet-Based Curriculum on Math and Aeronautics for Children With Physical
Disabilities site was developed in cooperation with NASA. It is designed to provide
students in grades 4 and above with mathematics-based activities that don't require
manipulative materials -- and are therefore accessible for people with physical
limitations -- and that increase awareness of career opportunities in aeronautics.
