We also welcome back Lynn Hayes, and offer our sympathy and prayers on the passing of her mother-in-law, Betty Hayes.
Thanks to all staff who participated in professional development sessions, or took our students on trips last week: Derek, Mark Morra, and Peter Petrasek’s Gr. 11 Religion Places of Worship excursion; Len, Peter Hathway, and Amy’s Senior Drama trip; the Math Department’s participation in two Numeracy Assessment for Learning Cycles; Louise, Dave Frair, and Rosalinda’s Science PLNs with our Gr. 11 Chemistry students and elementary schools; Jenn Wisniowski’s participation in the Extended French/French Immersion annual meeting; Marissa Largo and Mark Morra’s HRT3M2 trip to the ROM; Michelle Albert’s Math PLN with Holy Spirit; Mary Louise and Kara’s Student Success workshop; and Josie and Paulette’s computer in-service.
Thanks, also, to the staff that remained behind and covered areas to allow these events to happen.
Our appreciation also goes out to Cathy Schwan and the Our Kids Our Future team for all the activities and events that occurred to raise our awareness and some support for Rwanda and Violet, Andreina, and Lynn Hayes for their work in collecting, collating, inputting, and finalizing all the information for the Ministry Report.
Please take note of Michael Waud’s request for judging assistance for the November 28 Debate at Brebeuf. We will be well-represented with 3 – 4 teams and your help is greatly appreciated. Please see Michael if you can be of assistance.
