Skills Canada - Public Speaking - March 2010 BMT students placed first and second in the Skills Canada regional final Junior Division for Public Speaking First - Ayesha Ather, Second - Radiyah Chowdhury . OFSAA Basketball - March 2010 Congratulations to Richard, Kirt and Jason for their efforts with our basketball program. BMT, making yet another trip to the final four came away with a bronze medal after a thrilling come from behind 67-65 victory over Vaughan. In a game which we never had lead and were actually down by 12 in the 4th quarter, it was fitting for the Titans to wait for the final 35 seconds to steal away a win. Happy Halloween - November 3, 2009 For Halloween 2009 at Blessed Mother Teresa C.S.S., we decided to have a fundraiser that allowed students to wear their costumes for only two dollars. All the money raised in the event is going to contribute to the $ 8500 trying to be raised by the social justice club to build a school in Sri Lanka. In addition to the costumes, candy was also sold in the atrium during lunchtime to help raise money as well. Both efforts were successful. To see Halloween at BMT, please click HERE.
