Info: Can you think on your feet and are you stinkingly funny? Then try out for ND’s Improv Team. This hilarious team of every entertaining women come together every Wednesday after-school practising their slapstick skills preparing for the annual Canadian Improv Games.

Destination Imagination

Info: Call it Creativity 101, Destination Imagination teaches kids creative problem solving skill and teamwork. Lead by two DI veterans, Sarah Howard and Kasia Dymerska, Destination Imagination is an annual international competition held at Tennessee that includes many different events. Science Gurus

Info: Join the Science Gurus and live the science. Taking their award winning “Science Unleashed” show on the road, the ladies of the Gurus learn various chemistry and physics tricks and perform them to elementary schools. The girls of the Gurus not only learn to blow thing ups, but also WHY they blow and HOW to blow them up. So if you like big flames and even bigger science, the Gurus are the team for you.

Knitting Club/From Teens to Teens Club

Info: The award winning Teens to Teens Club meets weekly to knit scarves, mitts and toques for the poor and donate them to charitable organizations such as Covenant House. The knitting club was recently recognized by the Toronto Sun, 24 Hours Magazine, the CTS and Global Television’s Teen Tuesdays.

Art Club

Info: Artistic? Creative? Have a passion for self-expression? Like the smell of paint? Then the Art Club is for you. Headed by Ms. Baranowski, the Art Club meets weekly to create various projects including: masks, semi-formal decorations, various posters, anime and other special points of interest. The Art Club also hold ND’s Arts Festival in January.

French Club

Info: Are you interested in french culture? Have you ever heard/danced/sang to french music? Join the French Club and learn french cooking, watch french films, meet new people, and improve your french (yes that includes those of you who don't know any french!). They'll also be some information on the Paris exchange program during the March Break.

Info: The very extensive and hardworking yearbook club meets on Mondays and Wednesdays after-school so they can bring us the most memorable moments of the year.

Info: The sister club of the Science Gurus, Robotics is open to the Gr 9 population. The Robotics Club create robots from scratch and also using the Lego Robots program in the computer.

Photography Club

Info: Take a camera, go out around the beautiful area of the Beaches, and take some pictures. Learn all about the camera and techniques of photography. Put them into action. Develop your own photos in our dark room, and see your creations unfold into some beautiful photographs.
