In the whole history of Notre
Dame, the strongest voices of the student body have been the members
of the student council. They strive to make our school year fun,
while at the same time trying to stay within the boundaries of
the school administration limitations. Whenever the student body
feels like their voices are not being heard, the student council
is there to make our opinions heard, whether it is about the school
uniform or the dates of the prom, etc.
The Student Council seeks to raise
school spirit, and make school days fun, while at the same time
keeping us informed of the school community events.
The positions come with great responsibilities
and individuals must have certain traits that make them qualified
for the job. Members must be punctual and responsible, remember
that the student body looks up to them. Plus members must be good
ambassadors of the school at all times, especially when they go
on conferences and meetings outside of the school. It takes a
lot of responsibility and effort to stand up to the challenges
of being a member. These are some examples of their duties and
responsibilities: |
