Preparation for Class

Use of the O.L.S. Student Planner builds strong organizational and time management skills. Students are to be prepared for each day by having notebooks, textbooks and materials that the teachers have indicated are necessary. Assignments are to be handed in on Due Dates. Studying and reviewing work are essential for good test results.

Homework

Homework is assigned on a regular basis and will be noted in the student Planner. Regular, systematic and effective home study should be routine. Please encourage students to read 30 minutes silently every evening.

Evaluation

Evaluations are based upon test or quizzes, project assignments, homework, notebooks and class participation. Students will also be given projects that will require them to be completed at school.
