General Expectations
By
this point in their elementary career, the grade 8's are expected
to:
-Participate
during class discussions
-Develop a buddy system to track assignments when absent
-Seek help from teachers when necessary
-Develop effective work and study habits.
-Come prepared for class with all work completed
-Strict adherence to timelines
Homework
Expectations:
Homework
is a vehicle for developing and reinforcing learning. In this
grade, students can expect approximately 40 to 80 minutes per
night. They are also expected to do independent reading every
evening. Students are encouraged to use the school agenda properly
and efficiently for daily and long-term planning. (Include all
aspects of their life, including extra-curricular events in order
to pace their workload).
