    Copies of the TCDSB Excursion Handbook can be found in each school. Copies can be accessed and downloaded at the link below. School's can request a copy of the TCDSB Excursion Handbook from the Outdoor Education Department.

2. WHAT PERMISSIONS AND FORMS DO I NEED FOR A DAY EXCURSION?

Day excursions require the permission of the school principal. Day excursions require:

•  Parent/Guardian Permission Form - Schools can use the standard board form available at the link below or schools can generate their own form following the guidelines in the TCDSB Excursion Handbook.

• Emergency Action Plan for Day Trips

• School Bus Seating Plan (if applicable)

3. WHAT PERMISSION AND FORMS DO I NEED FOR AN OVERNIGHT EXCURSION IN CANADA?

Overnight excursions require the permission of the school superintendent. The forms required for this type of trip are:

• School Excursion Approval Application Form - signed by Superintendent

• Principal's Checklist - attached to above form

• Parent/Guardian Permission Form - Schools can use the standard board form available at the link below or schools can generate their own form following the guidelines in the TCDSB Excursion Handbook.

• Teacher's Checklist

• Student Health Information Form

• Student Consent to Medical Treatment Form

• Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for Transportation

• EAP for Injuries

• School Bus Seating Plan

4. WHAT PERMISSIONS AND FORMS DO I NEED FOR AN INTERNATIONAL EXCURSION?

International excursions require the permission of the Director of Education. The forms needed are almost the same as for overnight excursions which are:

• School Excursion Approval Application Form - signed by Superintendent

• Principal's Checklist - attached to above form

• Teacher's Checklist

• Student Health Information Form

• Student Consent to Medical Treatment Form

• Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for Transportation

• EAP for Injuries

• School Bus Seating Plan (if applicable)

Besides the above forms the following form is required:

• Parent/Guardian Permission Form for International Excursions
