The Claremont Conservation Field Centre centre is located in the 160-hectare Claremont Conservation Area, north of Ajax . Features of the site include the Duffins Creek and a wide variety of habitat – field, stream, pond, maple/beech woodlot, cedar lowland and plantation areas.

It is a cedar log building, completed in 1969, containing a laboratory, lounge, kitchen, dining room, washrooms and dormitory with bunk beds. There is accommodation for 60 students and 6 teachers. The building is wheelchair-accessible.
