Policy

The Toronto Catholic District School Board shall tender periodically for its day to day banking business.

The Toronto Catholic District School Board shall carry out short term financing, investments and borrowing, with the banks on the approved lists.

Regulations:

Approved lists of banks are defined as:

Schedule I Bank – is a Canadian chartered bank,
Schedule II Bank – is a foreign chartered bank.

The following banks are approved for short term financing:

Schedule I Banks:

Bank of Montreal
Bank of Nova Scotia
Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce
National Bank of Canada
Royal Bank
Toronto Dominion Bank

Schedule II Bank:

Hongkong Bank of Canada

Schedule I and Schedule II banks will be reviewed periodically.
