ALANA LYNN CELESTIAL MEMORIAL TRUST FUND--F.F.08

Policy

Interest and principal earned on a principal donation of $3,000 in the name of the late Alana Lynn Celestial shall be used to provide an annual award of $100 for an eligible child who is graduating from St. Brigid Catholic School.

Regulations

1.                  Students from the graduating classes of St. Brigid Catholic School will be eligible for consideration for the Alana Lynn Celestial Memorial Award.

2.                  Applicants for the award will have met the following criteria: 

(a)                Be in good academic standing at the time of the award;

(b)               Be held in high esteem by his/her peers for their consideration, thoughtfulness, help and kindness to others;

(c)                Have overcome personal difficulty in his/her life and be needy in a broad sense due to financial, social, or other issues beyond their control;

(d)               Have submitted an essay about their dreams and goals for their future. 

3.                  The award will be given on the recommendation of the School Principal with input from the parents of Alana Lynn Celestial and the school community. 

4.                  The award will be presented in June of each year.
