Policy 

The Toronto Catholic District School Board shall undertake an annual review of all regular home-to-school bus routes.

Regulations:

1.                  The Transportation Department in consultation with local Trustee shall review all regular home-to-school bus routes for compliance with Board approved criteria in February of each year.

2.                  Where a particular bus route no longer complies with Board approved criteria a report will be prepared for the consideration of the School CSAC, school Principal, local Trustee and school community.

3.                  If the School community wishes to eliminate the bussing within the Non Qualifying area, the school principal should notify Student Transportation Services who will prepare a report for the Administrative and Corporate Services Committee in March.

4.                  If the Administrative and Corporate Services Committee approves the removal of bussing the school community will be informed by the end of May.

5.                  There will be no changes to existing bus routes until the first day of the next school year.
