EXPENSES OF THE OFFICE OF THE CHAIR OF THE BOARD T.12 

Policy

Recognizing the necessary expenses incurred related to representing the Board’s interests, the Toronto Catholic District School Board shall establish an annual budget for use by the Chair of the Board in performing his or her assigned duties.

Regulations:

1. The annual budget for the Office of the Chair of the Board shall be set at $10,000.

2. Expenditures charged to the Office of the Chair of the Board shall be at the discretion of the Chair of the Board.

3. From time to time, the Board may approve expenditures incurred by other trustees or staff which shall be charged to the budget for the Office of the Chair of the Board.

4. All expenditures related to the office of the Chair of the Board shall be substantiated by receipts.

5. Expenditures above the annual budget of the office of the Chair of the Board shall receive prior approval of the Board before reimbursement is paid out.
