A referral for psychological services is, in most cases, initiated by the school principal after the student is discussed at a school interdisciplinary meeting. Students under 18 are seen with the informed, written consent of the parent(s).

Parents can request an opportunity to discuss their child's needs at a case conference or a school team meeting, or to consult with a member of the Psychology Department. This request is made through the school principal.
