Specialized Arts Secondary Schools

Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts
(Grades 7-12 offers outstanding instruction in instrumental music,
vocal music, visual arts, and performing arts.

The
world-renowned
St. Michael's Choir School
(grades 3-12) also offers special instruction in vocal and
instrumental music.

Bishop Marrocco/Thomas Merton
Catholic Secondary School introduced its new arts focus curriculum
in the fall of 2004.

Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School and
Regional Arts Centre
introduced its new Regional Arts Program in the Fall of 2006.
•
The
creation of grade 9-12 Arts, Media and Technologies Centre at
St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School
was approved at the June 16th meeting of the Ministry
Supervisor, for a future grade 7-8 component. (A working committee
will be formed to further review and advise on the implementation
with a report back to Board in September 2010.) |
