The tradition of Blessed Trinity Catholic School began in 1963. The initial section was
constructed on the north end of the property. It was rather small and measured to where
the middle doors are now located. Within a year, however, the population grew and several
portables were added. Three years later a permanent structure was added including a
gymnasium, as well as specialized rooms for industrial arts.
Over the years, the school has enjoyed a strong association with the community. Extensive contributions have been made by parents to help fund programs and activities that have been of a direct benefit to students in the classroom.
The school crest is enclosed in a triangle signifying the Trinity with a cross at the top as a symbol of our faith, a book to show pursuit of knowledge and the initials BTS at the bottom.
In 1988, the school celebrated its 25th anniversary. We are proud to say that some of our present parents are former students. The tradition of excellence continues.
Blessed Trinity Catholic School shares a strong commitment to Catholic education with
students, teachers, parents, priests, and the community. Values reflect Gospel teachings,
following the example of Jesus Christ. A safe and welcoming learning environment is
created for all students at Blessed Trinity as well as for students from other schools who
access the many specialized programs offered here.
Individual needs of the students are met in a variety of ways. Communication and networking among teachers is on-going in order to meet the needs of all the students. The following programs promote an awareness and acceptance of the diversification of the needs of others in the community.
Blessed Trinity is a busy place with ongoing co-curricular and extra-curricular events.
