Parent Meeting and CSAC Election

To the St. Norbert Catholic School community – Parents and Staff (August 28, 2008) 

We share the most recent VOC results and summary:   

• the current levels are below public authority thresholds.
• the inside levels are considerably lower than the initial set of inside results (approx 1700 and 900) 
• it appears that the auto body shop is emitting VOCs however these results do not lead to the conclusion that the auto body shop is the source of the relatively low levels of VOCs inside the school.
   

Next Steps:  

• DCS has been instructed to analyze two more samples
• One is to be taken after the school has been closed for a night
• The other is to be taken after the school has been ventilated

This should assist to determine the source of VOCs and the methodology required to lower the levels inside the school   Updated results will continue to be posted.
