QSP Magazine Fundraiser is Back

Your CSAC is pleased to bring you QSP’s Family Reading Program. This magazine subscription sale will help to raise money for programs and activities that benefit our children, while promoting reading and literacy at the same time. Last year we raised approximately $6000 that went directly to our children for items such as: Scientists in the School; Pancake Tuesday; Skate Night; classroom sport bags; grade 8 and SK graduations and much more. The program will run from October 6th to October 20th, 2008.

 

Magazines Make Great Christmas Gifts!

 

This sale is a great opportunity to buy gift subscriptions for relatives, friends, business associates and children who love to receive their own mail.  They can be sent anywhere in Canada, and if requested, QSP will send a gift card.

 

 

Great Prices

 

Over 700 magazines, books and CD’s are listed at savings of up to 80% off newsstand prices.  St Bonaventure retains an average of $10 for every magazine subscription purchased, so every order counts. You can give out our online school group number (8727) to your family and friends across Canada and they too can take advantage of these great prices.  All sales will help the school so please spread the word.

 

 

Subscription Renewals

 

You can renew your existing magazine subscriptions at these great low prices, regardless of your subscription expiration date. Make sure to copy your name and address exactly as it is printed on your current mailing label.

 

 

How to Order Magazines

 

There are two ways to order magazines:

 

  1. Online - Simply go to www.qsp.ca and order all your magazines online. Click on register or shop now and enter the St Bonaventure group number 8727.  By ordering magazines online your child will be entered into a QSP monthly draw to win a Nintendo DS Lite.  You can give out our school group number to family and friends across Canada. Make sure to provide them with your child’s name and teacher so your child gets credit for all sales for the incentive prizes.  The online subscriptions are processed immediately by QSP resulting in faster arrival of your first magazine.

 

  1. Order Form – If you cannot order online, simply fill out the order form provided to your child and return to the school no later October 20th, 2008.  Your child’s teacher can provide extra order forms.  Please make all cheques payable to St Bonaventure CSAC.  No cash please. Please note that order forms take longer to process as they have to be reviewed and couriered by CSAC to QSP and then inputted by QSP staff into master database.

 

 

 

We have Great Prizes for your Children

 

Your child will have a great opportunity to win fantastic prizes and rewards.  Siblings may work together to earn rewards as a family, but they must submit their orders under one name and teacher’s name otherwise the totals will not be combined. 

 

  1. We will be having 2 early bird draws for prizes on October 8th and 14th.  Send in your forms or order online before this date for your child to win: an extra 15 minutes of recess for their entire class supervised by Mrs Melo; Mme Côté Campbell’s famous bottle game for one student and 9 friends; or a game of basketball at lunch for one student and 9 friends supervised by Mrs Goldring.  Your child’s name will be put in the draw for each subscription they sell.

 

  1. Students will receive fun QSP Treasure Quest Rewards for selling anywhere from 1 to 30 magazine subscriptions.  These prizes will be handed out after the fundraiser is over.

 

  1. If your child sells any Chatelaine, Maclean’s, Flare, Best Health, Our Canada or Reader’s Digest Magazines they will receive a mini knapsack or a CD Rom game.  These prizes will be handed out on October 10th, 16th and 21st.

 

  1. On October 22nd we will announce the winners for the student who sells the most subscriptions in each division.  Grades JK-3 have a chance to win a $150 gift certificate from Toys R Us and grades 4-6 and 7-8 will have a chance to win a $150 gift certificate from Cadillac Fairview.
