Math Olympics:

 On April 14, 2007, Sean Wen won the Gold medal for Grade 7 Boys Toronto competition.
                He will be part of a team representing Toronto at the Provincials on June 1st, June 2nd, 2007 at Ottawa University.

Ms. Sguassero for winning "Teacher of the Year" award, sponsored by Scholar's Choice.  She was nominated by Justine Milicer a student in her class and was presented with a gift certificate for 200$ from Scholar's Choice.  The school and Justine also received gift certificates and the class got a Pizza Party!  Bravo!

Curtis Holness and Carina Sanderjas both participated in the Voce Children's Choir Spring Concert held in May at the Board office.

All members of the primary and junior choir members, Mrs. Ford and Mrs. Delfino for their wonderful performance at the music festival held at Don Bosco.

Christine Gonsalves presented her French Language Speech entitled "La gymnastique" at the city finals of  CONCOURS ORATOIRE (FRENCH PUBLIC SPEAKING CONTEST).   This was held at Glendon College earlier on May 14th, 2005.  She was the winner of the French Immersion competition at the Board level.  She received an honourable mention.

Makaydah Francis-Biggs and Denis Tran have been selected to proceed to the provincial level of the Young Authors Award/Prix Ecrivains sponsored by the Ontario Elementary Catholic Teacher's Association.  Makaydah's entry is entitled "L'Hiver"and Denis' is "Le combat de la souris et du chat".  An honourable mention was also awarded to Jonathan Morin.
