7. Potential cancellation of grades 7 / 8 year end field trip

C.S.A.C. had a disscusion with the Student Council representatives. Determined that trip was being changed due to low enrollment. In case funding was a contributing factor, an additional allotment was put into the C.S.A.C. Special needs allocation to help with this expense.

An alternative trip was planned for the class; but, this was unfortunately cancelled due to the teacher’s lockout.

8. Parent participation in school lockout

C.S.A.C. reviewed and determined that their position should remain neutral but supportive of both sides.

9. Making St. Cyril donations a Charitable Donation

Obtained volunteer; and, began preparing forms

Requires a St. Cyril C.S.A.C. Subject Matter Expert to complete forms. This may be taken up as a Summer initiative.

10. Increase the technology usage in the school

Requested that principal include an allotment to technology in her budget. Initiated discussions on a technology strategy, established that excess funds for 2002 – 2003 be put towards technology following an understanding of direction. Recommended the addition of "Numeracy Goals" in the "Local Action Plan".
