FAMILY DONATION FORM

Donations made payable to St. Cyril Catholic School Foundation are tax deductible. Please consider increasing your donation amount from last year.

Fundraising has become an integral part of school life. It is a means to help pay for student related activities and to purchase equipment and educational material that enhances the learning experience for all students. Fundraising provides financial support for the school needs that are outside the present level of government support.

The Family Donation Program has replace fundraising at St. Cyril. It provides the largest share of our revenue and is the only fundraising activity that yields 100% profit to the school.

In order to continue with many of the programs that have become popular at St. Cyril, we hope to raise $11,000 through the Annual Family Donation program this year. That works out to $55 per family. (A $80 donation is equivalent to only 42¢ per school day.) This goal is significant… This amount is equivalent to 25% of our principal’s school budget and effectively doubles our budget for non-text expenses. We can make an impact by providing extra funds to help enrich our school environment.

· Curriculum Support: “Scientists” In The School” program • “Artists” In the School • English book fairs • student agendas for THIS year • Curriculum Night • Plays,

· Local Action Plan and Goal Support: Sports Equipment • Play Baskets for the classroom • Toys for the Kindergarten classroom • Technology Improvements • Sacraments (First Communion, Reconciliation, Confirmation)

· Quality of Life School Support: Fans for classrooms • Carnaval • St. Jean Baptiste Play Day • Grade Eight Graduation •

We recognize that not all families have the resources to participate at this level. Please contribute what you can. We also recognize that it takes more than dollars to have a successful year.
