Description
The Catholic Schools Advisory Council is actively a part of the St. Mary’s community. This partnership between school administrators, staff, trustees, students, parents, and community members fosters healthy communication and a supportive environment.

That Catholic School Advisory Councils can be the vehicle for empowering the school community to actively acknowledge its resources and utilize them in support of student learning. That Catholic School Advisory Councils can be the forum through which parents and community can have a voice in education of children. Therefore, a properly constituted Catholic School Advisory Council shall be established in each school, subject to the requirements of the Education Act and the TCDSB Policies, Guidelines and Operating Procedures for Catholic School Advisory Councils, and shall function in an advisory role to the school principal and, where appropriate, to the Board. Catholic School Advisory Councils shall bring appropriate community resources into the school and shall recognize the right of parents to participate in the Catholic education of their children. http://www.tcdsb.org/csac/aboutus.htm.

CSAC Meeting Dates
All parents, guardians, students and community leaders are invited to attend our Catholic School Advisory Council (CSAC) meetings. They are usually held the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Library to discuss issues regarding school policies, procedures and parent/community involvement in the life of the school.
