Saint Patrick's Ball Hockey League

Saint Patrick's Ball Hockey League has been one of the surprise intramural events at St Pats this year. Based on fun, fair play and community building, the goal was
to provide an opportunity for young men and women to get together, play Canada's national sport and learn leadership skills by running the league.

The SPBHL(Saint Patricks Ball Hockey League) included 7 student teams and one teacher team, along with scorekeepers, referees and statisticians. A total of almost 100 members of St Pat's community were involved in this league, boys and girls, grades 9 to OAC!

The season ended with the mighty Veterans defeating the speedy Brady Bunch in a close 2 out 3 championship final! In the consolation round the world famous Team 3 defeated the Ice breakers in one of the closest games ever played in the St Pats gym!

Players from all the teams came to the Banquet at the end of the year held in our Library. Speeches were made and trophies were awarded to the Leading Scorers in both male and female divisions, Best Goalie, Most Gentlemanly player and even a teacher took home a trophy for the most improved player! We can hardly wait for next year!
