Catholic Students UN Assembly!

This year St. Patrick C.S.S. sent eleven students to participate at CSUNA XII, the annual Catholic Students United Nations Assembly.  A record number of 600 students from across the TCDSB came together to participate in stimulating discussions and controversial debates on world issues.  The event catapults students into the world of diplomacy and negotiations and provides the delegates with experience in foreign affairs, resolution writing, and public debate -- all supporting this year's theme of global partnership.

Facilitated by Ms Slosel, St. Patrick proudly represented the countries of Kenya, Chad, Jamaica and Latvia.  Congratulations to our delegates who had an outstanding number of their resolutions selected for presentation in their committees.  The delegates this year were Clarissa Almajose, Mary Louise Adriano, Satveer Gill, Jonathen Hussein, Lakhveer Jajj, Sanja Ljaskevic, Alice Namu, Ariel Pacpaco, Kimberly Reprado, Ken Woon-A-Tai and Joan Piloya who earned an Honourable Mention as Best Delegate in the African Union.
