Saint Pats meets a future Prime Minister!
On Monday, October 10th, 2006 grade 10 Civics students Basel Bar, Kamile Bautista, Joseph Leung, Joan Piloya, Peter Carducci, Keisha Lall, Reem Yamane, Ken Woon-A-Tai and Neil Policarpio accompanied Ms Slosel to the Royal York Hotel to listen to Liberal Party leadership Candidates Bob Rae, Gerard Kennedy and Stephane Dion. The event included a lovely lunch and an opportunity to ask the candidates their position on important issues. A question proposed by Joan Piloya was one of the few questions from the floor that was presented to the candidates. Fortunately, the candidates had time after the luncheon to personally meet with the students and Ms Slosel -- overall a very memorable day!
