TCDSB Announces Selection of New Trustee for Ward 6
The Toronto Catholic District School Board is pleased to announce that the new Trustee for Ward 6 is Rob Davis. The Trustee was selected from among 15 individuals at a special board meeting held this evening, May 8th

Rob Davis is a former councillor for the City of Toronto, and is currently a communications consultant. He is the founder and former chairman of the York Caribbean Carnival Committee, former executive member of the Black Business and Professional Association and a founding member of the John Brooks Scholarship Fund. 

“I was raised, educated and continue to live in Ward 6,” says Mr. Davis. “I deeply understand the needs of the students in this community. It will be a privilege to serve the constituents in this neighbourhood.” 

Mr. Davis will represent 33,620 Catholic School Supporters in Ward 6 which includes: Holy Rosary, Our Lady of Victory, Pope Paul VI, Santa Maria, St. Alphonsus, St. Bruno, St. Clare, St. John Bosco, St. John the Evangelist, St. Mary of the Angels, St. Nicholas of Bari, Stella Maris, Archbishop Romero and Loretto College. 

“TCDSB welcomes Mr. Davis to the Board of Trustees,” says Chair Catherine LeBlanc-Miller. “We are confident that he will be a strong voice for the schools and the Catholic school supporters in his area. We look forward to working closely with him for the remainder of this term.”
