BiographyJohn Del Grande,
B.Comm John Del Grande was first elected as a Trustee for the Toronto Catholic District School Board in November 2003 and re-elected in 2006. Now in his third term of trustee after being re-elected once in 2010, he represents constituents in the Board’s Ward 7 community (west Scarborough and north-east North York) and directly represents the parents, staff and students of 19 elementary and 4 high schools. Mr. Del Grande, works in financial sector with one of Canada’s large financial banking companies. He has held prominent roles in fraud management, project management and operations. He is a graduate of Ryerson University in business finance and information technology management. His experience working with large projects crossing over many business lines has assisted him in being an effective trustee and a resource relating to financial matters his board duties. His early education was completed at St. Sylvester Catholic School and Mary Ward Catholic Secondary School in Scarborough. John strives to ensure the Board remains accountable to the public in all its activities and executes his role in the best interests of the Board collectively. Ward Communications
