Special Day of Prayer and Fasting - Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

On March 25, 2022, the Feast Day of the Annunciation, Pope Francis will be performing an Act of Consecration of Ukraine and Russia, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as a plea for peace. 

A prayer of consecration will be said by the Pope in St. Peter’s Basilica during a penitential celebration.

Students, families and staff are invited to associate themselves spiritually with the consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by reciting the official prayer​.

The ceremony begins at 5 P.M. in Rome (12:00 P.M. EST). You can watch the event live​ on YouTube.

Cardinal Thomas Collins will celebrate the Friday Mass at the St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica in Toronto by reciting the consecratory prayer​
