Be part of the change in your community. Nominate a young volunteer for Canada’s Volunteer Awards.

If you had $5,000 to give to a not-for-profit in your community, what difference could it make?

Communities are where everything starts. Youth, as leaders of today and tomorrow, have continuously been part of the change in their communities.

We want to provide greater opportunities for youth to be recognized, have their stories heard and modeled by others. That is why we will be awarding five young volunteers at the next Canada’s Volunteer Award in the Emerging Leader category. The Emerging Leader awards are for people between the ages of 18 to 30.  As a Canada’s Volunteer Awards recipient, you will be able to further support a cause that you care for by selecting a not-for-profit organization to receive a grant of $5000. For more information and to submit a nomination, please visit Canada.ca/volunteer-awards. The call for nominations closes on February 3, 2017.
