Francesco and Lucia Colle Memorial Award
Interest earned on a principal amount of $5,000, as well as any further contributions, are to be used to provide an annual award to two grade eight graduating student (one boy and one girl) of the named Catholic elementary schools who are held in high esteem within their school community. 
1.                  A principal amount of $5,000 or such amount as reported annually, shall be maintained in the current accounts of the Board. 
2.                  A fixed amount of $250.00 per recipient* shall be used annually in order to provide an award to two graduating students as outlined in Regulation 3 herein. 
3.                  The annual award will be shared equally by two grade eight graduating students, one boy and one girl, selected from nominations received from the following schools: 
Blessed Sacrament
St. Bonaventure
Blessed Trinity
St. Charles
D’Arcy McGee
St. Clare
Holy Redeemer
St. Cyril
Holy Rosary
St. Edward
Our Lady of the Assumption
St. Gabriel
Regina Mundi
St. Margaret
St. Agnes
St. Monica
St. Alphonsus
St. Paschal Baylon
St. Antoine Daniel
St. Thomas Aquinas
4.                  Students from the graduating classes, who are held in high esteem within their school community for displaying a commitment to hard work, for their consideration, thoughtfulness, help and kindness to others and who have excelled in any aspect of the school life (academic, athletic, community service, humanitarian act, etc.), are eligible for consideration for the Francesco & Lucia Colle Memorial Award. 
5.                  Schools are requested to submit nominations for the award together with details of the candidates' achievements or contributions to their local superintendent. 
6.                  The award will be given on the recommendation of the superintendent, in consultation with the principals of the participating schools. The Colle family, unless and until they otherwise request, shall be invited to participate in the selection of the recipients. 
7.                  The cash award will be presented in June of each year.  
8.                  A plaque containing the names of recipients will be maintained with the names of the recipients in the Catholic Education Centre.
