My Accessible Canada Poster Contest

Vibrant Healthcare Alliance invites TCDSB classes to collaborate and raise awareness around individuals with disabilities, with a view to eliminating the barriers these individuals are confronted with on a daily basis.
In observance of International Day for Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd, Vibrant Healthcare Alliance will be sponsoring a poster competition among the primary grades (Grades 3-5) around the theme ‘My Accessible Canada’. This initiative will promote tolerance, inclusion and diversity within our communities while creating awareness that people with disabilities are a part of every aspect of society.
Deadline: All posters must be submitted no later than November 15, 2019.

About Vibrant Healthcare Alliance
In 2018 the federal government announced an initiative to create a Barrier Free Canada 2025 for persons with disabilities. Over the past decade, Vibrant Healthcare Alliance (formerly known as Anne Johnson Health Station-Tobias House Attendant Care) has been committed to eliminating barriers within our community and society as a whole. Vibrant Healthcare Alliance operates as a Community Health Centre and Supportive Housing site providing a wide range of services to people with physical disabilities, youth and seniors. The organization promotes dignity, independence, and advocacy by having a client centered approach within an anti-oppressive frame work.
