Youth Week Kick-Off – April 30
 
Youth Week Toronto celebrates youth engagement by showcasing the abilities and talents of youth in the areas of civic engagement, recreation, arts and sports in diverse communities across the city.
 
 

How to get involved

1. Plan a half day field trip with your students to attend our NATIONAL YOUTH WEEK KICK OFF!

   
  • Nathan Phillip Square
    100 Queen St W, Toronto, ON
    Date: Thursday April 30, 2020
    Time: 10-1pm

 

  • First come, first serve. School buses provided to schools who require assistance max of 2 busses, those schools who are relatively close to Nathan Phillips Square, bus tokens will be provided. If your school is interested in participating in the Youth Week Kick Off, please email me at PFRYouthWeek@toronto.ca by April 1, 2020.
 

2. Select students to represent your school by participating in SPECIALIZED EVENTS during May 1- 7, 2020!

 
  • Students will be provided a platform to showcase their talent across the GTA. There will be several events held with amazing opportunities and information sharing that will enhance students experience within the city.
  • EVENTS:
    • Films in the 6ix
    • Artists of the 6ix- Art Gala
    • Artists of the 6ix – Marketplace
    • Chop it like it’s Hot!
    • Sports in the 6ix – Volleyball, Basketball and Soccer
    • Connect to Learn (Homeless Youth Event)
 
Ensure you complete the Registration Package attached below.  Please Note: All events will be available on a first come first serve basis.
