Tentative Agreement Reached with CUPE

We are pleased to report that the Ontario Catholic School Trustees' Association (OCSTA), part of the Council of Trustees’ Association and the Ontario government have successfully negotiated the central terms of a collective agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) representing education workers (custodians, school office staff, educational assistants, child and youth workers, etc.) in 26 English Catholic School Boards, including the Toronto Catholic District School Board.
The details of the agreement remain confidential until ratified by all parties.

Negotiations continue with other unions representing various education workers employed in Catholic schools and board offices.
