Ten10 Cricket Tournament

Ten10 cricket tournaments coming up! Cricket Canada has been working with our school staff, providing training and equipment. Ten10 is a format of cricket that promotes maximum participation in a shortened, action-packed version of the game that can be completed in 1 hour. The format targets girls and boys who have grasped some of the basics of the game but are still developing their skills.

All tournaments begin at 10 a.m. and conclude by 2 p.m.

Over 2,000 TCDSB students were introduced to the game this year.

The game of cricket is taking over as the fastest growing sport in North America, second only to soccer in the world and TCDSB elementary students are a major part of this upsurge in popularity. The growth in the sport is due in part to the fact that cricket is a global game.  In a multicultural city such as Toronto, the game can be shaped to be fun and approachable for all ages and skill levels.
