Dear TCDSB Community:
Please be advised that due to
the snowfall overnight and this morning, all school
bus transportation has been cancelled and schools
for in-person learning are closed for today. School staff and
students will continue with remote learning for the day.
Childcare facilities may be open, but we ask
families to confirm directly with their childcare provider. Before and after
school programs will be cancelled.
As outlined in TCDSB’s Inclement Weather Protocol, severe
weather can cause safety risks and it becomes necessary to cancel student
transportation. We also recognize that this decision may pose challenges
for staff and families and would like to thank staff
for providing students with some opportunity to engage
in their learning today.
