The Toronto Catholic District School Board offers credit courses under the OSS curriculum guidelines. Parents and students must consult with their day school guidance counsellor regarding their course selections, prerequisite courses and diploma requirements. Course selections must be made in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum guidelines. Diploma requirements and course descriptions are listed on the Ontario Ministry of Education Web site: 
The TCDSB reserves the right to cancel or relocate a class.  A preliminary list of cancelled courses will be available on Friday, February 21, 2020. It is the student's responsibility to check our website for a list of all cancelled and relocated classes.
The TCDSB Continuing Education Department: eClass program is dedicated to providing students with a learning experience that meets their academic and real world needs. 


We are offering the following type of credits this semester:
​Types of Courses ​Description
​New Credit ​These courses enable students to obtain one full credit toward their diploma in a subject that was not previously taken. Students may register for a maximum of two new credit courses (Example: one eClass (*only Adult Learners, part-time and private school students are allowed to apply for eClass this term) and one in-class course or two in-class night school), View our program flyer to see a list of courses offered this term.

eClass Online Learning: Night School Semester 2 starting on Monday, March 2, 2020 to Wednesday, June 10, 2020

eClass Online Learning this semester is only available to adult learners, part-time and private school students. Only part-time TCDSB students are eligible to apply this term.
Full-time TCDSB students require approval from their day school to apply.
Adults, part-time and private school students registering for courses will be sent an acceptance email if the requested courses are available.

Attendance, Evaluation and Report Cards 



Students are required to log in and participate on a regular basis. Any questions regarding the course are to be directed to the online teacher. eClass students who are unable to login must email


All students will be required to write a final exam or culminating activity (please refer to your online teacher) . Students that are unable to fulfill this condition will be considered not to have completed the course.


Students MUST PICK-UP their report cards during the last session of classes for Night and Saturday courses. Report cards will not be mailed home. Students enrolled in an eClass Online Learning course will be provided the date, time and location of when report cards will be ready for pick-up on the NEWS section on their classroom website.
NON-TCDSB Students: Students MUST bring their report card to their home school or transcript office. Contact your school board or guidance department regarding this procedure. The homeschool or transcript office will add the course to the transcript or upload to OUAC.
A copy of the report card may be obtained by calling the Continuing Education Department. A $10.00 fee will apply. Additional copies of your report card can be obtained by using the Report Card Request Form. A $10.00 fee will apply.


PLEASE NOTE: The final opportunity to review and discuss your eClass Online Learning results with your teacher is:
 Monday, June 8, 2020
It is your responsibility to connect with your teacher on or before this date regarding any discrepencies in your marks.
NO MARKS will be re-evaluated after the review date.

Course Fees

International VISA students: Please register with your guidance counsellor at your school. If you register for more than one course, please call  416-222-8282 ext. 2161 to schedule an appointment to review their timetables and fees. There are no course fees for Ontario students. 



All students can register for night and eClass Online Learning courses starting on Wednesday, January 8th. Based on enrolment, courses will be cancelled or redirected on February 21st.  Students may register for a maximum of three courses. Proof of registration and photo ID may be requested on the first session of classes.

Note*: There will be NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION. 

Registration Procedures: Current TCDSB Students


  1. Visit your guidance department for a blank registration form. Submit a completed registration form to your day school guidance counsellor. 
  2. After submitting a completed registration form, obtain a Continuing Ed. timetable print-out from your guidance counsellor. This is your confirmation receipt that you have been registered successfully.

Registration Procedures: NON-TCDSB Students


This is a course request registration site. By entering this site you are submitting a request to be considered for registration. You are not officially registered into the course until you have submitted the necessary paper work. An acceptance to register email will only be sent to your provided email address if we have space to accommodate you into the course that you have requested. 
Current TCDSB students CANNOT register online.  
Online registration is only for NON-TCDSB students.
