Continuing Education

Adult Continuing Education Program

The Continuing Education Adult Program offers full-time and part-time English as a Second Language classes, Citizenship Preparation classes and Literacy/Numeracy classes to adult learners during the day, evenings and weekends. The objective of the programs is to develop language skills, upgrade academic qualifications and cultivate an understanding of Canadian society and culture. The Adult Education program co-sponsors programs with a large number of community agencies in Toronto to ensure access of all ethnic groups to available programs.

Summer Programs

Summer programs for special needs students with multiple and developmental disabilities are offered at both elementary and secondary levels every July.
Secondary school students may take new credit or upgrading courses, which run for four weeks in July.
Night school credit and general interest programs
Secondary night school credit and general interest courses are provided for adults and secondary school students at convenient locations throughout Toronto. Programs are offered over two semesters: the first extending from September to January, and the second from February to June. Courses vary in duration during these periods.
Secondary International Language credit courses are offered on Saturdays and throughout the academic year, beginning in September and concluding in June. Courses range from grade 10 to 12.
